17 FEBRUARY 2021
On Friday 12th February TAFISA hosted the fourth Europe in Action project partner meeting via Zoom, bringing together all nine project partners for the first time in 2021! This was an exciting opportunity to discuss the progress of the project so far as well as map out key milestones for the year ahead.
In its first year, the co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union Europe in Action project undertook a Europe-wide mapping of national sport policies and key deliverables to understand how European sport policies are being transferred into practical action on the national and regional/local level. Alongside the mapping, the first phase of Good Practice collection commenced to provide an opportunity for European Sport for All stakeholders to learn from the successes of others.
2021 marks a very exciting year for the project as the partners are now building from the data gathered in 2020 to develop educational modules based on key themes evidenced in the mapping of key deliverables.
All educational modules will be designed to fill an existing gap in terms of non-formal education, support sport organisations in the implementation of programmes and events and promote HEPA and Sport for All throughout Europe. The educational modules will be piloted within the Europe in Action project through three regional Active Meetings. Stay tuned for more information!
Despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the project partners are committed to the continuation of all activities associated with the project. TAFISA and the project partners will continue to meet virtually until international travel is safe with the next meeting scheduled for March 2021.
