16 FEBRUARY 2022
On 16th of February, TAFISA hosted the first meeting of 2022 for the co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union Europe in Action project. This pivotal meeting was attended by all project partners and was held online via Zoom.
The meeting presented an exciting opportunity to discuss the progress of the project undertaken so far and to map out the key milestones for the rest of this year, which is the third and final year of the project. In this respect, partners were updated on the progress of the design and development of the non-formal Educational Modules as well as the Capacity Building Platform. The Platform will host the thirteen Educational Modules alongside the Good Practice database and key European Policies and will be launched in the coming months – stay tuned to find out more about how you can access and use the platform to boost HEPA and Sport for All throughout Europe.
In another exciting move, the Educational Modules will be piloted across the next six months through three regional seminars or ‘Active Meetings’. The first piloting will take place in the Netherlands in April (hosted by the Knowledge Center for Sport and Physical Activity), followed by the second piloting in May which will be virtual (hosted by TAFISA) and finally the third piloting will take place during the 27th TAFISA World Congress in Slovenia in June (hosted by Sports Union Slovenia). The piloting carries the ambition to bring together participants from various EU regions, member states, professional environments and sectors – specifically targeting stakeholders from various levels and areas of focus to foster the creation of cross-sectorial cooperation and alliances in European and national Sport for All policy delivery. Watch this space to find out how you can participate in the piloting of the Modules!
Despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the project partners remain fully dedicated to the continuation of all Europe in Action activities. The next virtual meeting will be held in April 2022 in anticipation of the launch of the Active Meetings.
